Chef's tip

If you don't feel confident cleaning the anchovies yourself, then you can get Delicius preserved anchovies. We suggest that you do not bake them in the oven though, and rather just sprinkle them with the toasted, laurel-flavoured bread before serving.

Serving suggestion

Serve as an appetiser or a snack with some croutons, crackers or homemade bread. This recipe goes well with vegetable- and fish-based courses.

Wine selection

Verdicchio, Riesling, Sauvignon blanc, Soave, Pinot gris, Chardonnay

Family tip

You can try this recipe with Ponti grilled peppers, artichokes, sundried tomatoes and onions too!
