Ingredients

  • 16 pieces of Zero Olio® pepper and lemon artichokes Ponti
  • 300 g fresh anchovies (or Delicius anchovies)
  • 3 slices of bread
  • thyme (fresh or Cannamela's)
  • garlic (fresh or Cannamela's)
  • Filippo Berio extra virgin olive oil
  • Cannamela organic black pepper
  • salt

Method

  1. Clean and slice the anchovies into fillets. 

  2. Season the fish with salt and pepper.

  3. In a round mould put the Zero Olio® pepper and lemon artichokes in the middle and the anchovies around the sides. 

  4. Rub the bread with garlic, add thyme and the extra virgin olive oil.
  5. 
Put the flavoured bread on the pie and cook in a hot oven (220°C) for a few minutes.

Chef's tip

If you don't have the time to prepare the anchovies, or just don't feel confident about doing it, you can always use Delicius Anchovies instead.

 

Serving suggestion

Serve with a large green salad or with vegetable and/or fish side dishes.
