  • >> For the crumble:
  • 180 g flour
  • 120 g butter
  • 80 g brown sugar
  • 40 g Noberasco organic almonds
  • salt
  • breadcrumbs
  • >> For the stuffing:
  • 4 apples
  • 50 g of Noberasco organic dried prunes
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • Cannamela organic ground cinnamon
  • 4 Cannamela organic cloves

  1. Peel and cut the apples into cubes and the prunes into four parts.
  2. Put the fruit in a bowl, add sugar, cinnamon, cloves and season with lemon juice.
  3. Separately add butter, sugar, minced almonds and a pinch of salt to the flour.
  4. Quickly knead the ingredients with your hands until you obtain a thick, clumpy dough.
  5. Butter a baking tray, dust it with a little breadcrumbs mixed with flour, spread the fruit on the bottom and finally cover with the crumbled pastry.
  6. Bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes, until the surface gets a golden colour.
  7. Serve lukewarm.

Chef's tip

Serve together with yoghurt ice cream.

Ideal at the end of a meal as a dessert, on its own as a mid-afternoon snack or at breakfast with a cup of tea/coffee.
