Method

  1. Squeeze the oranges and put the juice aside; wash the skin and cut out some thin slices.
  2. Wash and cut the peaches, the prunes and the figs into wedges, then put them in a pan over a low heat.
  3. Shortly afterwards add the grapes, the star anise seeds, the cinnamon, the orange juice and the orange peel.
  4. Simmer for about 5 minutes, until the fruits are softer. Take the pan away from the stove and let cool down.
  5. Cut out 8 rectangles of baking paper, wet them and squeeze them well with your hands, then lay on a flat surface.
  6. Take 2 of the rectangles, lay the second one on top of the first one, put some of the fruits in the middle, then lift the longer sides and fold them together.
  7. Close the shorter sides as if it were a candy, then do the same with the remaining rectangles/fruits.
  8. Set the thus prepared wraps on an oven tray and cook at 200°C for about 10 minutes.
  9. Open the wraps, put 2 ice cream scoops on each fruit portion and serve!
