  • 2 packages of Rio Mare Insalatissime Maize and Tuna
  • 6 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 fresh spring onion
  • a few basil leaves (fresh or Cannamela's)
  • a pinch of oregano (fresh or Cannamela's)

  1. Slice the tomatoes, arrange them on 4 plates and lightly season with the oregano.   
  2. Put the Rio Mare Insalatissime Maize and Tuna over the tomatoes, mixing the ingredients well and breaking up the tuna.   
  3. Clean the spring onion, finely slice its heart and place it on the salad. 
  4. Add a few basil leaves on each plate, then serve.

Chef's tip

You can add some olives to the salad and top each dish with a few drops of balsamic vinegar, if you wish.


Serving suggestion

Ideal with some homemade crusty bread, crackers or croutons.

Pinot Grigio Friuli Aquileia DOC Superiore, Soave DOC, Chardonnay, Valpolicella.
