Ingredients

  • 2 package of Provolizie Piccanti, thinly sliced
  • 3 ready-made 'piadine'
  • 100 g cooked or roasted ham
  • Ponti Fine Herbs Artichokes and/or lettuce leaves

Method

  1. In a non-stick frying pan, warm up the piadine over a low heat until they get soft.
  2. Using a pastry cutter, cut out disks from the piadina bread.
  3. Assemble the snack by alternating piadine disks, cheese, ham, artichokes and/or lettuce leaves.

Chef's tip

You can tweak this recipe by using your favourite stuffing! Grilled meat, vegetables, fish.. If you like, you can also warm up the already assembled piadinas in the oven just before serving.

Serving suggestion

Serve with a cheese or cold cuts selection and/or with a green leafy salad.

Barolo, Chianti, Sangiovese, Chardonnay or Sauvignon blanc.
